Gemini 4 Argon: Built to Solve Your Hardest Problems

My take: Google just opened access to Gemini 4 Argon, its newest model, to developers and enterprises through the API, and to any Google AI Ultra or Pro subscriber through the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search. It comes with a 1 million token context window and fairly accessible entry pricing, which means a model at this level is no longer just for teams with big budgets.

Google says Argon leads benchmarks in finance, coding, legal work, and even resistance to prompt injection attacks. Those are interesting numbers, but they were measured by the same company selling the model: it's worth reading them with your own judgment and waiting for independent testing before treating them as definitive.

What actually matters for anyone working: there are more and more top-tier AI options at competitive prices, and that gives freelancers and businesses more leverage when deciding which tool to use. It's not about chasing every launch, it's about understanding what each model solves better than the last one.

If you already use AI in your work, how often do you compare what you're paying against what it's actually giving you back in time and quality?
