Amazon's Bee launches two new personal AI devices, starting at $75

My take: Amazon just launched two new devices under its Bee brand: the Frontier, a $74.99 wristband or clip, and the Eclipse, a $99.99 disc that attaches to your phone. Both listen to your everyday conversations and turn them into summaries, notes, and to-dos, from a doctor's appointment to a brainstorm with your team.

What I like most about this launch is how they handled privacy: audio is processed and deleted in real time, and transcripts stay encrypted with a key only you control, so not even Amazon can see them without your permission. That feels like the right attitude for any tool that's listening to you all day: convenience shouldn't cost you control over your own data.

For anyone who works for themselves (freelancers, consultants, small business owners), this is, in practice, a note taker that never gets tired: it remembers what you said on a call, drafts an email for you, or turns a conversation into a to-do list, without you having to type a word while you talk.

What part of your day would you let a device like this listen to and organize for you?
