How to Use AI to Grow on TikTok: Viral Scripts, Hashtags and Content Strategy

TikTok’s algorithm rewards niche consistency: accounts that always talk about the same topic grow faster. Before writing a single script, use AI to clarify your proposition.

Open a chat in Claude or ChatGPT and paste this prompt (replace the brackets with your info):

I want to grow on TikTok. My topic is [TOPIC]. My ideal audience is [WHO THEY ARE]. The result I help them achieve is [RESULT].

Give me:
1. A well-defined niche in one sentence
2. 5 winning content angles for that niche
3. The type of hook that works best for that audience

Save the response. You’ll use it in the following steps to keep consistency across all your content.

Tip: if you already have published videos, ask AI to analyze which ones got the most views and what they have in common to find your “winning formula.”

A TikTok script has three parts: hook (first 3 seconds), body (the core value) and close (call to action). AI is excellent at generating all three with the right tone.

Use this prompt to generate a complete script:

Write me a script for a TikTok video of [DURATION: 30/60/90 seconds].

Topic: [THE VIDEO TOPIC]
Audience: [YOUR AUDIENCE]
Tone: [conversational / educational / entertaining / motivational]
Preferred format: [step list / story / surprising facts / before and after]

The script must have:
- A strong hook in the first 3 seconds (that sparks curiosity or promises something)
- Clear, easy-to-follow body
- Close with a call to action (follow, comment or save)

Write it ready to read on camera, in short paragraphs.

Generate variations: ask AI “Give me 3 versions of the hook for this same script.” Test which one generates more retention in your first videos.

Important: AI scripts are a starting point. Personalize them with your voice, your examples and your expressions. Authentic TikTok always beats the perfect but generic script.

TikTok’s description has a limit of 2,200 characters, but the first 100 are the most important because they’re what you see before tapping “more.” Hashtags help the algorithm classify your video.

Hashtag rule: always combine large hashtags (over 1 million posts) with niche hashtags (between 10,000 and 500,000 posts). Niche ones connect you with your ideal audience; large ones give you a chance at massive reach.

Note: trending hashtags (#fyp, #foryou, #parati) no longer guarantee reach the way they used to. Prioritize niche hashtags relevant to your topic.

Instead of thinking about what to post every day, create content for several weeks in a single session. This is the real advantage of using AI for TikTok: production efficiency.

Use this prompt to generate your calendar:

I'm a TikTok content creator about [YOUR NICHE]. I want to post [N] times per week for [X] weeks.

Generate a content calendar with:
- Specific topic for each video
- Recommended format (list, story, fun fact, tutorial, etc.)
- Suggested hook for each one
- The goal of each video (educate, entertain, convert, connect)

Vary the formats so they don't repeat two weeks in a row.

After getting the calendar, dedicate a 1-2 hour session to generate ALL the scripts at once using Step 2. That way you always have content ready and don’t depend on in-the-moment inspiration.

To go faster: you can use Claude or ChatGPT to generate all the week’s scripts in one long conversation, saying “Now write the script for video #2 from the calendar.” Ask it to remember the tone and audience you defined at the start.

TikTok has its own native analytics in the app. Once a week, review your metrics and use AI to interpret the data and improve.

Problem	Fix
The AI script sounds too generic	Add more context: your story, your specific audience, your tone of voice. The more you detail the prompt, the better the result.
My videos don’t reach new people	Check if the first 3 seconds are curious enough. The hook is 80% of success on TikTok.
I don’t know which hashtags to use	Ask AI to look up the most-used hashtags in [your niche] and give it examples of competitors you like.
Content isn’t getting results after 30 days	That’s normal at first. Analyze your 5 best videos with Step 5 and double down on that type of content. Don’t switch niches before 90 days.
