Almost No One in Silicon Valley Says 'SI': Big AI Companies Keep Saying 'AI'

My take: While the Trump administration insists everyone should now say "Super Intelligence" or SI, the companies actually building these tools, OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, simply kept saying "AI" at that very same White House press conference. Even Elon Musk corrected himself and went back to saying "AI" the same day on his own social network. To me, this confirms something I keep repeating: the name doesn't change what the tool does or how it serves you at work.

What really matters isn't whether you call it AI or SI, it's whether you understand what it's for and how it makes you more efficient day to day. Labels come and go; the real competitive edge belongs to whoever learns to use the tool well, not whoever repeats the trendy term.

Do you choose which technology to use at work based on what it's called, or based on what it actually helps you accomplish?
