In this guide you’ll create presentations with AI from start to finish: first you build the outline with ChatGPT (or Claude) and then you turn that outline into well-designed slides using Gamma, without moving a single text box by hand.

1 Define el tema y el públicoDefine the topic and audience

Antes de tocar ninguna herramienta, ten claras 3 cosas. Te tomará un minuto y mejora muchísimo el resultado:

  1. El tema: ¿de qué trata? (ej. “plan de marketing para un café nuevo”).
  2. El público: ¿para quién es? (un cliente, tu jefe, una clase, inversionistas).
  3. El objetivo: ¿qué quieres que pase al final? (que aprueben, que compren, que entiendan).

Anótalas en una nota. Se las vas a dar a la IA en el próximo paso.

Before touching any tool, be clear on 3 things. It takes a minute and improves the result a lot:

  1. The topic: what is it about? (e.g. “marketing plan for a new coffee shop”).
  2. The audience: who is it for? (a client, your boss, a class, investors).
  3. The goal: what do you want to happen at the end? (approval, a sale, understanding).

Jot them on a note. You’ll hand them to the AI in the next step.

2 Arma el guion con ChatGPT o ClaudeBuild the outline with ChatGPT or Claude

Una buena presentación empieza por un buen guion, no por las diapositivas. Abre ChatGPT o Claude y pídele la estructura. Un prompt que funciona:

A good presentation starts with a good outline, not with the slides. Open ChatGPT or Claude and ask for the structure. A prompt that works:

You're my presentation assistant. Create the outline for a
presentation about [TOPIC], for [AUDIENCE], with the goal of
[GOAL]. Give me 7 to 10 slides. For each one: a short title
and 3 or 4 key points. Clear, professional tone.

Read what it returns and adjust it: ask it to shorten, to add a closing slide, to change the order. When you like the outline, you’ve got 80% of the work done.

3 Crea tu cuenta en GammaCreate your Gamma account

4 Genera las diapositivas con tu guionGenerate the slides from your outline
  1. En Gamma, aprieta + Create new (o “Crear nuevo”) y elige Presentation.
  2. Elige la opción de pegar texto (“Paste in text”).
  3. Pega el guion que armaste con ChatGPT o Claude.
  4. Gamma te pregunta el estilo y la cantidad de diapositivas. Elige un tema que te guste y dale Generate.

En menos de un minuto tienes la presentación completa, con títulos, texto, imágenes y diseño. Cada diapositiva sale de un punto de tu guion.

  1. In Gamma, click + Create new and choose Presentation.
  2. Choose the Paste in text option.
  3. Paste the outline you built with ChatGPT or Claude.
  4. Gamma asks for the style and number of slides. Pick a theme you like and hit Generate.

In under a minute you have the full presentation, with titles, text, images and design. Each slide comes from a point in your outline.

5 Ajusta el diseño y el contenidoAdjust the design and content

La IA hizo el borrador; ahora le pones tu toque. Todo se edita con un clic:

  • Texto: haz clic en cualquier frase y escríbela a tu manera.
  • Colores y tipografía: cambia el tema completo desde el panel de la derecha.

No busques la perfección. Que se vea claro y profesional es más que suficiente.

The AI made the draft; now you add your touch. Everything edits with a click:

  • Text: click any sentence and rewrite it your way.
  • Colors and typography: change the whole theme from the right-hand panel.
  • Images: replace the ones the AI added or ask for others by describing what you want.
  • Edit with AI: select a slide and use the AI button to ask “make it shorter” or “add a data point”.

Don’t chase perfection. Clear and professional is more than enough.

This is the step almost everyone skips, and it’s the most important. AI is super fast, but it can make up figures, dates or names. Before presenting:

  • Review every key number and fact: is it correct?
  • Confirm proper names and dates.
  • Read it out loud once: that’s how you catch odd phrases or ones that don’t sound like you.

You put your name in front of that audience. The AI does the heavy lifting, but the last word is yours.

When it’s ready, you have several options:

  • Present from Gamma: use the presentation mode inside the tool.
